Rules of the game

To start the game, solve the initial challenge. After that, you are presented with the rest of the challenges. These challenges can be solved in any order. You get points for each challenge you complete. You complete a challenge by entering the correct flag (solution).

The game is played by teams. A team can consist of up to five people. The team captain creates an unofficial team with a password, the others join by using the button "Join team" with the correct team name and password.

Everyone is welcome to join, not just students at UiO. However, we will have a special prize for best student-only team. To be eligible, please register with your student mail account or inform us at admin@opholmgang.com.

The winner is the team with the most points at the end of the game. If the competition ends in a tie, the team that finish fastest will be the winner.

Remember to be creative, always read all the material given out to you, and try to look for clues where you don't expect them to be.

Keep an eye on the notification icon in the top menu. Important messages and updates will be posted there, if needed.
